    As a national organization providing tele-behavioral health services in an evolving regulatory environment, we are seeking an individual to perform research on policy and regulations for various teams (marketing, operations, clinical, product, finance, research outcomes, and compliance) who can align the research activities with application to the business and across AbleTo’s departments.  The role will be reporting to the Compliance Department which reports to the CEO and Board of Directors. Meticulous, detail-oriented, and diligence are required characteristics of the individual. The individual must take ownership of his/her work.


    The Compliance Regulatory Analyst is responsible for documenting mission-critical state by state regulatory requirements for AbleTo’s lines of business and various departments. This specialist will interface with all business units and executive management to ensure awareness of and compliance with these requirements. The specialist will maintain a list of requirements related to:

    • Support the compliance team managing filings/registrations, including drafting and compiling of  technical files, documents and related submissions
    • Coordinate with compliance, operations team members and third parties/compliance vendors on product changes and regulatory notification / approval requirements
    • Develop and maintaining state by state requirements matrices
    • Assist in maintaining regulatory databases and summary reports to support management efforts to track and trend filing requirements
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on state by state regulatory requirements and state/federal policies impacting existing and future lines of business
    • Assist in developing internal policies and updating existing policies to align with changing regulations
    • Review client contractual requirements to develop internal controls and tracking across departments
    • Provide responses to teams that need state regulatory input as questions/concerns arise
    • Represent compliance department in project meetings and provide regulatory guidance


    Position Requirements:

    • One to three years of work experience in regulatory environment, preferably healthcare, ideally behavioral health but not necessary
    • Excellent research skills on LexisNexis and on government sites
    • Proficiency with Google Suite
    • Flexible with change and adaptable to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent prioritizing, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent documentation skills including record maintenance/tracking and understand document traceability
    • Responsive and accountable, takes ownership of work product, ability to assess big picture and apply laws/regulations to business processes
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work in a Project Team Environment


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience interacting with regulatory bodies
    • JD or paralegal/compliance background - applying regulations to business practices
    • Policy background
    • Experience working in fast paced environment



    • Ability to think strategically, plan, execute, measure results and drive continuous improvement
    • Strong technical background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Professional attitude and demeanor with great team collaboration skills
    • Discipline and organization to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Demonstrate personal ownership of and follow through on assignments
