    AbleTo Quality Engineers are dedicated to ensuring we get it right the first time by driving quality automation throughout our SDLC and participating as a peer engineer within our Lean-Agile product engineering group. Responsibilities include requirement analysis using advanced behavior driven development (BDD) techniques, defining test strategies, test planning and execution activities, test automation, authoring and reviewing product documentation, and ensuring overall product quality including usability, performance, and stability. Quality Engineers must be able to prioritize responsibilities and work with their Agile teammates to streamline, integrate, and continuously improve the effectiveness of our software quality lifecycle.


    • Define detailed BDD acceptance criteria and test scenarios that align key product capabilities and features with company value streams.
    • Collaborate with product manager and development team to facilitate shared understanding of stakeholder needs and help drive the successful delivery of quality products to our customers.
    • Provide input for the definition of test strategy, implement & execute manual test cases, and analyze test outputs to maximize product quality.
    • Perform all forms of product testing including test case creation and execution, exploratory testing, system integration, usability, regression and performance testing.
    • Catalog software defects and collaborate with peer engineers to ensure they are resolved and thoroughly retested.
    • Analyze test coverage for existing and new tests regularly, incorporate feedback from defects and escalations into regression suites.
    • Participate in release and iteration kickoffs, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and other team meetings as necessary for the agile team.
    • Review and/or suggest improvements to product documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency during iterations and/or at release time.
    • Drive continuous improvement of testing and development practices to make the team more efficient, deliver higher quality products, and ship on time.

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    • Experience as a Manual Tester with an understanding of the requirements gathering process.
    • Proven ability to communicate with development team.
    • Strong attention to detail demonstrated by ability to follow and develop specific, outlined and detailed procedures
    • Familiarity with Gherkin concepts and requirement documentation
    • Demonstrated ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize and balance multiple task


    • Hands-on experience with test case definition and execution
    • Identify defects in multiple environments and throughout all phases of the development life cycle and ensure that development groups address all open defects in a timely manner.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and timeliness in decision making.
    • Preferably some Clinical/Healthcare product and technology background.
    • Application/technology knowledge or related experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
