    This position is the key driver of revenue growth, client satisfaction and brand development for AbleTo within its existing clients. It requires frequent interaction with the client’s executives, sponsors, and clinical teams, and with AbleTo’s Operations, Finance, Sales, Engagement, Clinical and Medical teams. Specific responsibilities include:

    • Define AbleTo’s strategy for Account Management, aligning it with the Corporate Strategic Plan and the individual strategic plans for each of the company’s areas. Specifically includes negotiating annual goals and initiatives with the Executive Team, Finance (revenue, prices, margins and diversification), new products and services calendar with Clinical and Product Management and joint brand awareness / relevance initiatives with the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Marketing.
    • Have ultimate responsibility for the results of the team in their core objectives:
      1. Increase Client Satisfaction – understand and quantify clients’ expectations for AbleTo’s programs and services outcomes, driving our performance in such metrics through the coordination of all our teams.
      2. Increase Revenue – find ways to grow the breadth (expanding into new populations, segments (ACO, MA) and services), depth (increasing our reach into existing populations) and efficiency of revenue generation (including Pricing and Risk Sharing negotiations, with the support from and approval of the Finance team).
      3. Drive strategic alignment – Align AbleTo’s and clients’ strategies and goals. Translate this alignment into annual plans, signed off by both parties, defining key objectives, expectations, milestones and ownership.
      4. Improve AbleTo’s awareness within clients and leverage opportunities for joint market development efforts such as new studies, publications and PR opportunities.
      5. Manage the routine of the account to maximize all of the above through:
        1. Communication – create and execute communication plans that directly contribute to client satisfaction, revenue growth and clients’ awareness of AbleTo. This includes overseeing regular reporting efforts (with clearly defined audiences, channels, formats, periodicity, sources and internal processes), structuring and implementing meetings with targeted agendas involving clients’ and AbleTo’s Senior Leadership teams, collaborating with AbleTo’s marketing team on client-related marketing, and advocating for client needs within AbleTo.
        2. Referral Coordination – coordinate with internal resources to ensure external referral sources (e.g. nurses, EAP, disability, PCP) are prepared and linked to ensure member results.
    • Interact with and define the rules of engagement between Account Management and all other areas of AbleTo.
    • Build and lead the Account Management team, defining its structure, functions and responsibilities based on the strategy defined.
    • Initially own our biggest account, responsible for a significant part of AbleTo’s current revenue.



    • Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry (specifically on the health plans side), its players, objectives, business models and value chains;
    • Proven track record of exceeding revenue growth and client satisfaction goals; Sales experience a desired plus
    • Experience in proactively planning, managing and reducing the new product/service introduction cycle within clients;
    • Experience in building and leading high performance teams;
    • Strategic vision that translates industry trends and opportunities into well-defined, executable plans for all levels of the Account Management team and other areas of AbleTo;
    • Solid understanding of the financial implications of Account Management strategies and tactics, including Pricing and Risk Sharing;
    • Ability to initiate and cultivate meaningful relationships at all levels of the organization;
    • Ability to communicate and work with product management and other teams for new idea generation, program roll-outs and problem resolution;
    • Ability to quickly identify problems and work towards agreed and well-communicated solutions;
    • Must be able to work in a high growth team environment; and
    • Availability to travel to clients and the AbleTo corporate office in NYC as needed.
