    The Data & Analytics team plays a central role at AbleTo, handling the company’s and our clients’ data, monitoring and improving the efficiency of our operations, and interfacing with virtually every team in the company. As an analyst on the team, you would play an integral role in extracting actionable insights from the data.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    As a Data Analyst at AbleTo, you will work in a uniquely cross-functional capacity, helping teams across the organization apply analytical rigor to their decision-making.  The role will entail:

     

    • Running analyses on large claims datasets and summarizing results
    • Producing data-driven reports for our clients that demonstrate how AbleTo is helping clients manage their patient populations
    • Serving as primary liaison for the Data team with our Account Management and Client Development team for client reporting and new client opportunity analytics
    • Supporting critical function of maintaining data ingestion processes that drive key business growth processes
    • Playing a key role as a team member supporting both Business Intelligence and Data Science initiatives

    Qualifications

    Technical skills

     

    • Highly skilled in SQL (experience with Google BigQuery a plus)
    • 1-2 years programming experience, Python or R preferred
    • Experience extracting and communicating insights from large datasets across disparate sources
    • Experience wrangling, cleaning, and  visualizing data
    • Experience with health claims data a major plus
    • Experience using a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau a plus



    Education / Experience

     

    • 1-2 years relevant work experience is preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a Quantitative Discipline, Mathematics, Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or equivalent years of experience required
