    AbleTo, Inc. combines best-in-class patient engagement with behavior change treatment programs that allow health plans and plan sponsors to improve health outcomes, while lowering overall spending, for high-cost medical populations. Benefitting groups include heart patients and diabetics, as well as those suffering from depression/anxiety and chronic pain. All sixteen of our programs utilize best-practice protocols and are delivered nationally by teams of licensed therapists and behavior coaches. Program participants experience improved health, better recovery and in the case of heart patients, fewer hospitalizations.

     

    The SVP, Data & Analytics is tasked with powering AbleTo’s capabilities, from patient acquisition to treatment delivery to outcome measurement by identifying ways to use data and analytics to achieve differentiated results.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership

    • Identify best practices and solutions that can make a meaningful difference to AbleTo performance.  Understand &/or uncover relevant uses cases in the payer industry for AbleTo’s Data & Analytics capabilities
    • Lead strategy sessions to derive a long term Analytics roadmap incorporating input from key stakeholders
    • Maintain & engage a board of outside advisors, key client leaders, and other industry contacts to inform AbleTo’s Data & Analytics strategy
    • Participate in Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, contributing to overall company, specific client, and other strategies

     

    Client Data & Analytics Solutions

    • Represent AbleTo in client meetings to showcase AbleTo’s Analytics capabilities
    • Be the point person in negotiations with client actuaries and other stakeholders on the delivery of clinical ROI and other value drivers.
    • As appropriate, participate in the scoping and the delivery of Analytics requests for clients (such as ROI or Opportunity assessments)
    • Identify opportunities for AbleTo to deliver new analytics solutions to clients
    • Identify opportunities to deliver internal analytics solutions across the delivery of our services (targeting, engagement, treatment, post-treatment)

     

    Team Management Responsibilities

    • Ensure adequate staffing and capabilities of the Data & Analytics function by regularly measuring capacity of the team vs. demand from internal & external customers
    • Partner proactively with HR to drive effective recruiting and retention of staff
    • Act as a coach and mentor to create a world-class Analytics function.  Foster a team environment where the Data & Analytics can achieve their professional goals
    • Maintain an agile organizational structure optimized to support the Data & Analytics internal & external customers. Ensure that the roles on the team are clearly defined and the expectation of the roles are clearly articulated
    • Ensure D&A team members effectively partner and contribute to critical product development that leverages D&A inputs.  Work with Product & Technology as appropriate to “platformize” the relevant analytics solutions (e.g dashboards, etc.)

     

    Workflow Management Responsibilities

    • Prioritize the work of the Data & Analytics team with input from internal customers
    • Partner with SVP of Information & Technology on establishing an efficient ingestion and data lake strategy to further free up Data Science and BI resources.
    • Drive a consultative scoping process focused on delivering high value efficiently
    • Maintain a portfolio of the data science projects to ensure ontime delivery and keep stakeholders aware of the status
    • Implement a Quality Management process to ensure the accuracy of the output of the team & to reduce rework

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Master's or equivalent work experience in Statistics, Machine Learning, Measurement Science, NLP.

     

    Experience & Characteristics:

    • 15+ Years of progressive excellence in large-scale engineering, statistical/predictive modeling, machine learning, team leadership, and analytic consulting
    • Must be comfortable interfacing at the senior executive level.
    • Client facing experience; strong preference for ability to discuss medical ROI with clients.
    • Payer Healthcare Data Analytics experience required
    • Experience leading and building out world class B2B or B2C data products/solutions
    • Collaborative, detail-oriented mind-set coupled with the ability to define and shape original research agendas is required, as evidenced by a strong track record of value creation with quantifiable economic value.
    • Experience with Data Science in AWS or other cloud computing platforms preferred.
    • Experience working with modern data-science/machine learning technologies.
    • Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done, comfortable with early-stage, dynamic, rapid growth culture
