Overview

AbleTo, Inc. combines best-in-class patient engagement with behavior change treatment programs that allow health plans and plan sponsors to improve health outcomes, while lowering overall spending, for high-cost medical populations. Benefitting groups include heart patients and diabetics, as well as those suffering from depression/anxiety and chronic pain. All sixteen of our programs utilize best practice protocols and are delivered nationally by teams of licensed therapists and behavioral coaches. Program participants experience improved health, better recovery and in the case of heart patients, fewer hospitalizations.

Collaboration is a key to our success in creating high quality healthcare products, and we know the impact of good design is huge. We encourage a sense of autonomy and expect designers to be able to think critically and act as product leaders among a team of engineers, product managers and clinical experts.



Responsibilities

As a Product Designer (UI) you will:

  • Craft beautiful web, mobile and print designs that connect the dots between user needs, data, business goals, and clinical insight.
  • Closely collaborate within your multidisciplinary product team (clinical, engineering, and product management) to plan, build, and ship new features.
  • Present a range of design concepts, see between the lines, give and take feedback well, and actively research concepts and new directions.
  • Have a strong visual aesthetic and experience delivering beautiful, high fidelity, production-ready designs.

Qualifications

We’d love to talk more if you have…

  • 1-2 years of experience working within an “in-house” product team, or an agency iterating the UI design of a new or existing products.
  • Experience in adapting and implementing UI Design frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material, iOS, React Native
  • Designed products for Healthcare Providers & Patients
  • Experience across the design process from concept development to launch.
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills that balances user needs, business goals, and clinical insights.
  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing your strength in idea generation, interaction & visual design.
